Registered Veterinary Technician
Victoria is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been a part of the Yonge-Davenport team since October 2023. She graduated from Sheridan College’s Vet Tech program, bringing with her a profound passion for animal care and welfare. Her professional journey spans diverse environments, encompassing volunteering at the Toronto Humane Society and the Canadian Animal Blood Bank. She has worked at a zoo and on farms, racetracks, and in various small animal practices.
Her special interests within veterinary medicine include the human-animal bond, behavior/psychology, anesthesia, pre-visit stress reducing medications, specimen collection, and quality of life care. Her patient’s physical and mental well-being are Victoria’s top priority. Driven by a deep commitment to animal welfare and fueled by a diverse range of interests, Victoria is thrilled to be part of the team, where she can contribute her skills and passion to the well-being of furry friends.
At the core of her heart are two feline companions, each with their distinct personalities – Boo (the gentleman) and The Void (the mischief maker). Their antics and affection contribute to the joy in Victoria’s everyday life.
