As a new client of our animal hospital, you can expect exceptional care for all your pet’s needs.
Once you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly by our receptionist, who will gather some information and medical history about your pet including current condition and the reason for your visit.
While some clinics may start with a veterinary technician doing the initial exam, at Yonge-Davenport Pet Hospital, our Doctors personally greet all clients and pets as soon as they are ushered into one of our examination rooms. They will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend some diagnostic tests if needed. We offer a lot of in-house diagnostics including blood-work, cytology and digital radiographs. Sometimes however, some tests need to go to external laboratories for more specialized testing. A detailed estimate will be provided explaining all recommended diagnostics in order to obtain a diagnosis and treatment plan.
This is a great time to ask questions. We want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
Once your pet is ready to be discharged, our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
